23rd February 24 v Painters 'B' (H) Lost 334-336

For long periods in this game the Tatti's were well below par and, despite a fantastic late effort by the top half, they ended up losing by 2 pins against Painters 'B', 334-336.

It was one of those of those unfortunate nights for the Bogoes, when more than 50% of the team failed to average 7's in a game that the bottom half will want to forget in a hurry. To put this dismal effort into context, the last time they scored less than 335 at home was almost eight years ago (on 8th April 2016), when they played on the 1st floor alley at the Snooker Centre.

The only real highlight was Captain Ali who's performance was fantastic and almost dragged his team to victory. He certainly didn't deserve to be on the losing side that's for sure.

Ne'r mind, they are six points clear at the top of the table with only five matches to play.

"Disappointing performance after a promising start. Never put our opponents Painters under any pressure all night and they fully deserved the win even though we did make a good fist of it chasing 94 to win. Some good news was to follow though, as results filtered through it was a case of 'as you were' "
