This was a strange game where aiming the ball was surplus to requirements. Just chuck the ball in the direction of the plastic pins & hope for the best. Some players got lucky & others didn't, but hey-ho, the only stat that mattered was the Tatts' scored three more pins than Wellies to win 339-336.
This was the Tatti's 900th league game so it was shame they played this milestone game with Mickey Mouse pins which thwarted good skittling.
"There’s rocket science to the wellies alley, shut your eyes and lob them down !! Steady performance aided by excellent spares by Dave and rusty left the home side 101 win and they certainly had their chances but fell short by 3 pins. Good games, valuable two points and another game ticked off. I wouldn’t say it was vintage Tattis but it was enough!! Well done Russ D on top scoring with an excellent 37 with Dave not far behind with a good 35 "
