The Tatti's stepped two points closer to their 16th Division One title by defeating Fire Brigade by 63 at the Military Club, 384-321.
The opening leg can only be described as very average and would have been worse if Benny hadn't rescued it with a well taken 14 spare. It handed an opportunity for Fire Brigade to take the initiative but fortunately for the Bogoes their opponents were well below par on the night.
A devastating second leg ended the contest. Three more spares from Vorni, Griff & Rusty surged the Tatti's to 111 and a further four spares followed up in the 3rd leg from the same three players plus Jonah, to record back to back tons.
Fire Brigade returned to the alley 129 pins behind. Despite a couple of good spares they never looked like reducing the defecit and they left the Tatti's just 26 to win.
On the final leg, Vorni tried his best but failed to get a 'Vorni', Rusty made it two-in-two 40+'s at their new home but Stuee Griff stolethe limelight with an excellent 43.
"It turned out to be an excellent team performance but the start was looking like a disaster until Benny produced a brilliant spare to rescue the first leg, albeit still a very average opening of 85.Surprisingly fire brigade let us off with two low 80 legs which gave us the impetus to kick on and we did just that with two ton legs which included 7 spares and after their third leg reply the game was all over. With 3 players chalking up a brace of spares each it was left to Vorni, Griff and Rusty to fight it out for the top score gong, which went to Stuee with an excellent score of 43 with Russ just behind on 41 and somehow Steve only getting 38 !! Brilliant win against a good side and we must keep it going now "
