The Tatti's edged closer to their sixth division one title in a row with a solid performance at home against third placed Woodpeckers, winning by 12 pins, 339-325

"After a confidence boosting knockout cup semi final win on Wednesday the focus then switched to a home game against the in form Woodpeckers. Tough fixture but a must win we started with a respectable 87 and to our surprise woodpeckers could only respond with 78 & 73. Brilliant opportunity to capitalise when we returned to the alley but spare chances were at a premium until up stepped the in form Cheese to produce a fantastic 17. So at the halfway point we were 25 pins up and another steady 3rd leg of 87 left our opponents 112 to level. We knew they’d come back better and an excellent leg of 96 put them back in it. However, to our relief they could only muster 78 to finish leaving us 63 for victory. Excellent win with Cheese (by a mile) the stand out player scoring 41 following on from his 40 the week before. Brilliant again boys but must keep it going, up next a difficult looking trip to take on Livin on a Spare who are fighting hard to maintain their division 1 status"
