A nightmare third leg on Friday 13th cost the Tatti's the match as they lost away to Livin' on a Spare by 20 pins on the Richmond Club no.4 alley, 333-353.
"After an excellent win in the front pin semi hopes were high that we’d continue our run of good performances. The night started well, 5 up after two legs and left 83 to catch Livin on a Spare on the 3rd we should’ve been able to capitalise and leave our opponents a challenging total for victory. However, the wheels fell off big time with a disastrous leg 65, probably our lowest leg since the days of playing on the Volunteer alley against Evans’s. Game over but well played Livin on a Spare and it was certainly their spares that made the difference, five to our one which was achieved by cheese who would go on to top score once again !!"
