27th February 26 v United Farmers (A) Won 345-310

The Tatti's took full advantage of United Farmers sub 80 opening leg to create a comfortable lead and, with an excellent final leg, ended up winning by 35 pins at the Richmond Club, 345-310.

Cheeso bounced straight back from a disappointing effort in their last home game, starting with a brace of spares and topped scored with 40.

"After a disappointing semi final cup defeat on Wednesday it’s was back to the bread and butter of the league with a tricky trip to play United Farmers. With Ian’s late withdrawal through illness, Craig possibly being sidelined for the rest of the season and a couple of late fitness tests it was never going to be easy. Cheese stepped into the big boots to replace Ian and immediately produced an excellent 15 which gave us a first leg lead of 11. The 2nd leg looked like being a disaster but somehow Cheese took out a miraculous non spare chance for 12 and then Rob flopped them for a brilliant 15 and somehow the leg was 88!! The home side to their credit matched that but a 75 3rd leg gave us the chance to try and put the game to bed. However we could only mustard 76 so it was all still to play for but an excellent last leg of 96 aided by a brilliant 14 from Benny proved decisive and leaving the farmers 109 for victory & we eventually ran out comfortable winners. Cheese topped scored with an exceptional 40 with Rob scoring a very good 36 and Benny’s late spare lifting him to 33. Brilliant win boys, tough one next week against a buoyant Woodpeckers team who have won 10 of their last 11 games!!"
