An excellent opening ton leg paved the way for the Tatti's tenth league victory in a row, beating a good Barton side by 20 pins 372-352.

It was another excellent team performance with eight players in the 30th and everyone scoring 26 or more. Captain Ali & Jonah felled the spares with Jonah just pipping Ali by a couple of pins to take the accolade of highest scorer of the game.

Soon after the match was over, news came through that Evans SC had lost for the second week in succession, so the Tatti's are now 2 points clear at the top with five games to play.

"372 with only 2 spares shows the level of performance. Brilliant and it had to be to defeat a very good Barton side. They matched us over three legs but the first leg proved decisive when we recorded a ton and they could only manage a 79. Jonah top scored with an excellent 38 with the captain a couple back on 36. Must keep it going boys, won’t be easy next week when we have the lottery of plastic pins at the Richmond club!!"
