For the third consecutive home game the Tatti's scored a total of 375 and this time it was enough to beat their opponents, Phoenix Nights, by 20 pins.
Stuee Griff, although not celebrated by his performance, completed his 700 appearance for the Bogoes and has now joined eight others who have surpassed this milestone; Statto (718), Cheeso (725), Jonah (736), Benny (763), Prycer (765), Westy (892), Berti (981) & Captain Ali (986).This match was also significant for another reason too. It was the first time both Berti & Ali had been dropped for the same game since 20th October 2000 when they watched their team lose to Richmond HUSC at K's Pool Club. The previous game, versus Shop Assistants at K's, Ali had suffered a 20 & Berti a 23.
The only other occasion when this happened was in the very first season, twenty seven years ago, when they witnessed a 40 pin win over Wiggin Rams on 6th February 1992. The game before, versus Herefordians at the Legion Club, Ali had scored 20 & Berti 23.
One final stat from this game, Liam's 13 in the second leg was the Bogoes 100th spare of the season (excludes front pin).
