22nd February v Bridgemen (H) Won 376-335

Another good home performance enable the Tatti's to run out comfortable victors by 41 pins against Bridgemen, 376-335.

After suffering a hat-trick of dismal low 20 displays Captain Ali's patience with Berti had finally run out and he decided to chalk his name up in the bottom half. To begin with placing him no.7 seemed to have had little effect but, after recovering from the shock, he produced a brace of spares. It wasn't enough to prevent the top half winning though as Booby starred in Berti's no.2 spot with a superb 41, his highest score of the season, and it just edged them to a 4 pins victory over the bottom half.

20th February v Evans SC (Front Pin Semi Final) Won 310-271

The Tatti's progressed through to their 12th Front Pin final with an excellent 39 pins victory over Evans SC, 310-271.

It was a repeat of the 1994 fixture when the Bogoes also scored 310 to beat Evans SC by 17. On that occasion the game was played at the Sportsman Club (Hereford United Supporters Club) No.2 alley.

The Tattibogoes will play Military 'D' in the final after they hammered Richmond Lions by 78 pins on the other Welsh Club alley 315-237. Should be a good game.

15th February v Beevers (A) Lost 349-375

The Tatti's ventured upstairs in the Snooker Centre to be met by a Beevers performance which  surpassed their best for season to date and enough to defeat the Bogoes by a comfortable margin of 25 pins, 374-349.

However. it could so easily have been much different had the many chances that came the Bogoes way in the opening two legs been taken instead of being wasted. Beevers should have returned to play their second leg chasing a big ton plus to level instead of achieving one for a healthy lead.

As it turned out, their 102 and the Tatti's response of just 81 ended the game as a contest.

8th February v Phoenix Nights (H) Won 375-355

For the third consecutive home game the Tatti's scored a total of 375 and this time it was enough to beat their opponents, Phoenix Nights, by 20 pins.

Stuee Griff, although not celebrated by his performance, completed his 700 appearance for the Bogoes and has now joined eight others who have surpassed this milestone; Statto (718), Cheeso (725), Jonah (736), Benny (763), Prycer (765), Westy (892), Berti (981) & Captain Ali (986).

This match was also significant for another reason too. It was the first time both Berti & Ali had been dropped for the same game since 20th October 2000 when they watched their team lose to Richmond HUSC at K's Pool Club. The previous game, versus Shop Assistants at K's, Ali had suffered a 20 & Berti a 23.
The only other occasion when this happened was in the very first season, twenty seven years ago, when they witnessed a 40 pin win over Wiggin Rams on 6th February 1992. The game before, versus Herefordians at the Legion Club, Ali had scored 20 & Berti 23.

One final stat from this game, Liam's 13 in the second leg was the Bogoes 100th spare of the season (excludes front pin).

1st February v Fire Brigade (A) Won 402-376

The Tatti's achieved their third 400+ of the season away against Fire Brigade to win by 26 pins.

Stuee Griff starred with a fantastic 47, his best score in almosr eight years and 30th time in the forty's, while Turps found playing at No.1 to his liking with his best performance to date and his first 40+ for the Bogoes.

Question, does anyone know who these imposters were?
