Statto was quick out of the blocks with a well taken 14 spare and with Prycer finishing the opening leg with a flopper 15 Stuee chalked up their first ton leg of the season on the board. As expected, Harry's Lads response was impressive with a couple of ninety plus legs to keep the contest alive. When the Bogoes returned to the alley they needed 86 to level but the bottom halfers struggled to 39 with everyone scoring a six apart Benny with a nine. Fortunately the top half then produced three spares from Stuee, Cheeso & Berti, which although not huge, they were enough to stretch the lead to ten pins. A sold ninety plus third leg left Harry' Lads trailing by 102 and their sub eighty ended their hopes.
Cheeso stole the limelight with a superb 16 spare to finish and with a 43 total he now sits pretty at the top of the averages.
