17th March Div.1 v Richmond Lions (H) W 374-322
Thanks to Vorni dropping in at short notice to perform the sticking duties the Tatti's were able to secure a comfortable 52 pins home victory over relegated Richmond Lions.
Chasing 78 to level at the half way point the Bogoes superb 103 secong leg saw them surge into a 25 pins lead and probably ended the match as a contest.
Following a two match rest, away from the pressure of the title run in, Booby Weale returned refreshed, minus hair, shadow tash & Deirdre Barlow glasses, with his best score of the season thanks to a brace of well taken spares. Cheeso should have joined him in the 40's but unfortunately his spare ball in the final leg sailed through a gap between the pins.
However, forget the win, Booby's 44, Cheeso's misfortune, or even Vorni's expert sticking, the night really belonged to Rodders who celebrated being 50 years young.
Captain Ali ensured consistency was maintained for Rodney by chalking his name up in 8th position on the board (as he did for his previous birthday games in 2006 & 1995). True to form Rodders immediately scored a 7 with his first three balls.
We can forget the rest, Happy Birthday Rodders.

10th March Div.1 v Woodentops (A) W 377-315
The Tatti's defeated Woodentops by a whopping 62 pins at the Barrels while at the Bowling Club Woodpeckers completed a seasons double over Harry's Lads. This means that with just two matches remaining the Bogoes & the Lads are level at the top on 34 points.
Westy starred again with two late spares taking him well into the 40's for the second successive week while last weeks birthday boy Ali waded in with a brace of spares too in his 41. With the top half achieving all seven spares they achived their third best total ever with 221 pins (229 is the highest) taking this seasons whitewash score to 4-0.
Earlier in the week Prycer became the next Tattibogoe player to have a 50th birthday & to celebrate Rodders produced a remarkable exhibition of skittling that only he can do. Dave tried his best but couldn't quite match the standards set by Rodders.

3rd March Div.1 v GWRSA 'B' (H) W 377-345
A solid performance against the already relegated railwaymen saw the Tatti's win by 32 pins and stay just a couple of points adrift of league leaders Harry's Lads
The night didn't start well though. Two players had to pull out at the last minute due to illness which left the team one short, fortunately Captain Ali had previously prepared for this happening by signing on the Snooker Centre's manager John Meredith as a sleeper.
Westy took the plaudits with a superb 41 after a flopper 17 in the first leg white Berti, Benny & Boundy also achieved spares
Rodders celebrated playing his 500th competitive match for the Bogoes however, the night belonged to Captain Ali who turned 50 at midnight.
Happy Birthday Capain Al...
