The Tatti's are searching for a massive improvement in their home form having won just five of their thirteen games last season.
In this, the first game, they faced a good test against Ramblers who beat them comfortably last season 326-347. This time around they found the going much tougher and despite matching the Bogoes spare count at three apiece the result was almost an identical reverse with the Tatti's winning 347-325.The Bogoes opening leg was average at best and the second seemed to be going the same way until Berti weighed in with a 13 spare, making the most of his single pin opportunity. A few moments later he returned for his third go & added another spare which came from a flopper first ball delivery.
Bottom half stalwart Phil 'Benny' Hill was watching from the sidelines and wondering if he and his colleagues will ever win a leg this season. He refused to comment on the issue as he saw the top half complete a hat-trick of white washes.
