24th March 23 v Richmond Painters (H) Won 427-313

The Tatti's were on fire for their final home match of the season beating Richmond Painters by a massive 114 pins, 427-313

Captain's Alis' comment:

Exceptional team performance just when it was needed. Lost count of the number of floppers but a big shout out to Stuee Griff for his brilliant double flopper 21, the first time he's achieved this marvellous feat!!

Some big scores but the accolade of top score once again goes to Russ D.

Well done boys"

17th March 23 v Livin on a Spare (A) Lost 328-352

It was another very disappointing performance at the Richmond Club where the Tatti's suffered another defeat against a relegation threatened team. This time it was at the hands of Living on a Spare losing by 25 pins, 328-353.

Only four efforts scoring more than 7 by the half way point resulted in the game being over as contest.  With only three players finishing in the thirties it's probably their worst performance for a very long time.

Never mind, with two games to go, they're still joint top of the table with Beevers

15th March 23 v Evans SC (Front Pin Semi-Final) Won 250-219

The Tattibogoes are through to the Front Pin final after a close fought battle with Evans SC, winning by 31 pins, 250-219

The scoreline hides the true nature of the match which started with the Bogoes taking a12 pins lead after the opening legs. Following it up with a decent 60 the Bogoes felt they were in command having left Evans 72 to level. but, two good 66's later the outcome of the match was in the balance.

Requiring another 60 to draw level the third leg didn't start to well as the top 3 could only muster up 13 pins between them. That's when it suddenly changed. Captain Ali dug deep to floor a brilliant spare, Cheeso backed him up by clearing the frame & Benny also weighed in with a spare of his own.

Happy to be 7 ahead after three legs, the Tatti's were cop-a hoop when their top three finished with a floorish. Boundy kicked of the late surge with a wonderful flopper and was very unfortunate not to make it a double with his second ball leaving just one pin standing. Then Berti followed up with a spare of his own before Rusty almost cleared the frame.

The 41 pins haul from these three players left Evans needing a huge 79 to win. It was a target they fell way short of in the end making the result appear far more convincing that it really was. In truth, it was a fantastic match more befitting of a final.

10th March 23 v Woodpeckers (H) Won 355-320

The Tatti's were fortunate not to be well behind after a pretty ropey first leg as their opponents Woodpeckers started much worse. In the end they ran out comfortable winners by 35 pins, 355-320.

Rusty was star man with an excellent 40 containing a 18 spare and Boundys' good form continues as he joined Booby & Westy with 36. Cheeso & TK Maxx played well too however, the others all need to improve for the remaining few matches of the season.

3rd March 23 v Richmond Lions (A) Lost 339-373

The Tatti's suffered their fourth defeat of the season away against relegation threatened Richmond Lions, by 34 pins, 339-373.

The match was subsequently perfectly summed up by Captain Ali's comments:

"Poor, very poor performance, bemoan luck but that was the worst performance of the season. Big improvement needed next week and for the remaining games.

Well done to the lions you gave us an absolute tonking!!

Well played Russ D top scoring with our only spare of the night on our very last go !!"

Fortunately, their only title challengers, Beevers, also lost on the night so it's a case of  'as you were' with four games to play.

24th February 23 v Wranglers (H) Won 371-308

The Tatti's accrued two more points in their quest to retain the championship title with a home victory over Wranglers, 371-308.

With their opposition unable to field a full team the result was never going to be in doubt however, the Bogoes produced a very good performance and a score that would probably have been good enough to win against a full strength Wranglers.

For the second game in succession Boundy starred with a brace of spares in an excellent 42 total that sees him leapfrog over Vorni into second place in the Tatti's averages table. If his current form continues at this level, who cares where he stands, he'll be aiming for a hat-trick when they play the Lions next week.
