13th March v Phoenix Nights (A) Won 354-316

The Tatti's move up to 50 points for the season with a good away win over Phoenix Nights at the Victory, 354-316.

The only other time the Bogoes have reached 50 points in division One was when they were champions in 2006/07 and finished the season with 52 points.

Congratulations to Prycer for completing his 800th competitive appearance and to Captain Ali for claiming the highest score, piping Berti by a single pin.

Earlier, Boundy felled a good 12 spare which, when including his exploits the previous week, was his fourth spare in succession. Hats off to his opposite number in the Phoenix team, Arron Price, for a brilliant 49.

The Tatti's score of 354 was the highest of the season by an away team at the Victory. With just a few weeks to go the Bogoes can also boast this accolade on seven other alleys; the Hereford Bowling Club , Lads Club No.s 2 & 3, Military Club No.1, Plough Inn, Richmond Club No.1, and  the Wellington Social Cub.

6th March v Bridgemen (H) Won 404-346

The Tatti's celebrated being champions with a brilliant 400+ total again to beat Bridgemen by 58 pins, 404-346.
Before the game commenced Cheeso & Benny bowled off to determine who would play with Cheeso winning with a well taken 8. However, this soon became irrelevant when Berti decided to self isolate, due to fears that he'd contracted the Corona virus, and Benny was back in the team.

The bottom half didn't miss Berti in the slightest, with all but TK Maxx flooring spares (9 in total) and thrashing the top half 224-180. It was the first whitewash of the season too.

Jonah managed to achieve the top half's only spare, which I guess was a feat in itself considering he was playing immediately before & after Boundy who claimed the limelight with a hat-trick of spares despite being absolutely slaughtered at the start. Nope, still have no idea how how he did that & I doubt he can remember it either!

Contratulations go to Prycer with a brilliant 49, what a fantastic way to celebrate a 53rd birthday. He is now sitting pretty at the top of the Tatti's averages table.

4th March v Military 'D' (Front Pin S. Final) Won 249-232

The Tatti's are through to their third final, this time in the Front Pin cup, with a good win over Military D at the GWRSA Club, 249-232.

Captain Ali put on his best suit but decided to sit this one out confident that the line up would be good enough to overcome the challenge of their nearest rivals in Divison One.

As Ali put his feet up, his team mates helped him celebrate his birthday with a 17 pins victory, to progress to the final off all of the three major cup competitions. The Tatt's are the only team to achieve this feat since the competitions have been run and it's the third time they've done it. The previous seasons were in 1998/99, when they won the Front Pin & KO Cup & were runners up in the Man v Man) & in 2004/05 they were winners of the Man v Man but runners up in the other two cups.

Happy Birthday Captain Ali.

28th February v Beevers (A) Lost 355-366

Despite losing to Beavers by 11 pins, the Tatti's win the Division One title for the 13th time  equalling a record that has stood for 40 years. Bartonsham 'B' recorded their Division One 13th title in 1980 and Evan's SC joined them after edging out the Bogoes last season.
