5th April v Livin on a Spare (Man v Man Cup Final) Lost 5-7 (361-377)

The Tatt's last match of the 2018/19 season ended in defeat in the Man v Man final against Living on a Spare 5-7.

Although the scoreline appears to show a close game in reality it wasn't. Living on a Spare were much the better team on the night and deserved their success while too many of the Bogoes players were below par.

However, that can't be said of Prycer & Captain Ali who, for the previous five matches have been fighting it out in a close battle for the Tatti's Highest Average of the season. Ali had thought he's seen off all challengers when he overtook Westy who had been in prime position for fifteen weeks however, Prycer, who was twelth at that time, found an amazing run of form to surge up the table. With five matches to play Prycer had amazingly overtaken Ali to lead by 5 pins and it appeared Ali may be missing out on the Averages title yet again.
Not this time though, after being runner up on six occasions in 28 years, he dug deep to find his best performance of the season with a 47 against Wellies. It returned him to the top & he managed to hold on over the last few games despite some good scoring from Prycer including in this final match. Congratulations Ali.
