27th March v Military 'D' (Front Pin Final) Won 295-256

The Tatti's claimed their sixth Front Pin Cup with a convincing 39 pins win in the final, 295-256, against Military 'D'.

Captain Ali played a blinder with a faultless 37 total, setting a new personal best at front pin, whilst Boundy & Cheeso joined Ali in the thirties after achieving the only other spares on the night.
It was an evening of note for Westy too as he completed his 900th appearance for the Bogoes.

22nd March v Wellies (H) Won 395-351

The Tatti's put in a fine performance to end their league campaign, beating Wellies by 44 pins, 395-351 however, Evans SC also won their final match at home v Phoenix Nights to claim the Championship. Congratulations to them.

Captain Ali led from the front yet again with a superb 47 including a brace of spares. He now finds himself in prime position to take the averages title, leap frogging Prycer, although there is only 5 pins between them with potentially four matches remaining.
Westy is third but now 22 pins behing Ali so will be looking for his best form to return to mount a challenge.

15th March v Harry's Lads (A) Lost 311-318

After defeating Evans SC a coupe of days earlier to join them at the top of the table the Tatti's were in confident mood for the match against Harry's Lads at the Railway. However, not for the want of trying, spare chances never materialised whilst Harry's Lads had no such problems. They took advantage with four spares and held out at then end to win by 7 pins, 318-311.

This result means that Evans SC, who narrowyly beat the Wellies, now just have to avoid a home defeat at the Volunteer against Phoenix Nights to clinch the championship.

13th March v Evans SC (A) Won 325-303

Although not at their best in terms of scoring the Tatti's did enough to claim two essential points against league leaders Evans SC, 325-303.

All the plaudits must go to Dave Pryce who is in sublime form at present and has now won the sweep honours in the last three outings. He followed up Stuee's well taken spare by clearing the frame to allow Stuee to chalk up a 90 opening leg total and then floored a fantastic flopper straight afterwards. This set the Bogoes on their way to a healthy lead which Evans couldn't claw back.

It's now all square at the top of the table with just two games to play.

8th March v Military 'D' (H) Won 384-341

Another excellent performance saw off the challenge of Military 'D' as the Tatti's won by 43 pins, 384-341.

Prycer was on top form again with two brilliant spares to equal the Bogoes highest score of the season set by Stuee Griff against Fire Brigade on the 1st Feb. Stuee also got into the 40's thanks to a 16 spare whilst Westy almost joined them too but the 18th pin wobbled & stayed up to give him a 'Vornie'!

This important victory enabled the Tatti's to stay within two points of league leaders Evans SC and cling on to their hopes of winning a 13th Division One title. As it happens, Evans SC are also going for their 13th title too and they'll be playing eachother in the next game at the Volunteer. Whoever wins the title will join Bartonsham 'B' as joint holders of the most Div.1 titles in the history of Hereford skittles.

1st March v Shop Assistants (A) Won 377-323

The Tatti's put in another very good performance to defeat bottom of the table Shop Assistants by 54 pins and keep the pressure on league leaders Evans SC.

It was their 24th successive win over Shops which spans a period more than 20 years. Their last defeat (by 9 pins) was on 19th September 1997 when Liam, who was very unfortunate in this game, was just 2 years old!

Well done to Berti, Booby & Prycer for making it a hat-trick of 40's.
