18th Nov. Div.1 v Military 'D' (H) L 365-417

The Tattibogoes were on the receiving end of the highest away score ever in the league since records began in 1956/57.

Military D's score of 417 just pipped the previous best by one pin which was set by the Bogoes in 1996/97 & then equaled by Harry's Lads in 1998/99.

Prycer topped the scoring for the Tatti's with a very good 40 while Cheeso's attempts to bring some festive cheer to the team spectacularly backfired when he finished with a 3.

The reactions from both after the game ....

11th Nov. Div.1 v Evans SC (A) W 366-328

What a fantastic turn around, from one of the worst displays ever against Woodentops at the end of September to last Friday when the Tatti's produced their finest at the Volunteer to defeat Evans SC by 28 pins.

Personal bests in this fixture were achieved by half of the team playing (Rusty, Berti, Boundy, Cheeso, Holly & Prycer) and the Bogoes total of 366 & a 109 leg eclipsed their previous best of 346 & 98 achieved two seasons ago.

Boundy's treatment abroad continues to reap rewards as his fine 33 extended his remarkable run of straight 30+'s on the Volly against Evans SC to five matches, 31,32,33,33 & 33.

Cheeso's 38 was the best on the night & he rightly takes the plaudits however, nobody threatened the record set by Phil Hill who scored 42 here back in February 2015. Benny has missed the previous three games through injury but declared himself fit for this one & despite a bit of rustyness early doors he soon got into his stride and finished the game in style with a brace of 9's. He'll now be hoping to stay fit for next Friday so he can play his 700th competitive match for the Tattibogoes.

4th Nov. Div.1 v Richmond Northend (H) W 364-354

After struggling to get to grips with their new home alley the Tatti's are finally beginning to settle down & are producing some solid performances.

For the first game this season they avoided a seventy leg slip up and were able to see the game out with a superb 90+ finish without a spare to win by 10 pins.

Credit to their opponents Richmond Northend for keeping the result in the balance for the duration of the match & they probably would have won if the game was played a month or so back.

It was pleasing to see the return of a rejuvenated Boundy after his enforced midweek break at Amchara in Malta. The results were immediate when on his very first ball he floored eight pins & made good use of the single pin opportunity by opening the team's spare count.

Pleased with his decision to send Boundy away Captain Ali was in tremendous form and top scored with a brilliant 38.

Finally, congratulations to Prycer on completing his 700th competitive match for the Tattibogoes.
