The Tattibogoes claimed their first points of the new season with a comfortable away victory over Richmond Lions by 49 pins. Westy celebrated his 50th match against the Lions with a great 12 spare to set the tone for a successful evening. There were a few good performances most notably from Phil Hill & Captain Ali however, none could surpass the efforts of a fired up Cheeso who recorded a superb 41. Calm down Cheeso, Berti apologised for picking up your pint!
The Tatti's started the 2016/17 league season with a fantastic 105 leg on their new home alley however a poor second one handed Beever's an opportunity to get back into the match. And, with two ton plus legs to finish they grabbed it in some style & despite a spirited effort to knock over the 108 pins to win the Bogoes fell six pins short.
The Tatti's twelve match winning run in the man versus man cup came to an end at the Black Lion where they were defeated by Herefordian's on total score. The match was tied at 6-6 but Herefordian's scored three more pins than the Bogoes and progress through to the last 16 of a competition that the Tatti's have won for the past two seasons.
The Winners.... Prycer & Rusty +9, Booby +5, Cheeso & Ali +3, Rodders +2, and the losers.... Boundy -11, Statto -5, Allan -4, Holly & Jonah -1 Top man was Rusty with 32 while Benny has probably secured the spoon already with his effort of 16.

It's only the second time that the Tatti's have played at the Black Lion, the previous was a victory over Vagaalmost 20 years ago (in November 1998). Nine of the players who competed in this match played that night too and the team scored 22 more pins at Front Pin! Tonight Matthew ..... I'll be bombing out at the Black Lion
The Tatti's started the new season with a 10-2 victory over division two's Bucanneers in the man v man cup at the Military Club. The biggest winners were Statto +23 & Rodders +22 although their opponents were non existent! The other eight winners were: Stuee +15 Booby +12 Westy +11 Jonah +10 Cheeso +8 Berti +5 Ali +2 Boundy +1 Holly lost by 4 & Benny by 7.
Stat of the week... Captain Ali has competed in every Man v Man cup game that the Tatti's have played in their 25 year history, a total of 59 matches in all. On top of that he's also played in all their KO cup matches which adds a further 47 games making a total of 106 in all. And, with Rob Weale's proposed changes to the KO cup accepted at the AGM the Tatti's have entered both these competitions for the first time since 2005/06.
